Gherkins are keep growing upwards and gives several small fruits. We give them the adequate nutrients to encourage the production. Luckily, we don't have problem for the water supply since this is rainy season. The harvesting is coming soon!!!
Day 10
It's blooming !!! and you will see a small ghekin connects to its flower.
There is some problem we found about not perfectly climb upto the net. Then we have to handle this job.
Seed culture
Prepare the soil
The soil itself should be acid to neutral, very fertile and moisture retaining, and rich in organic matter.
Prepare the plot
(area size : 200 squaremeters)
Day 1 - track distance is 30 cm. and cover the plot with cloche for protection and keep moisture retaining.
Day 2
Making the netting for flat or preferably grown with support.
Day 3
Cultivate gherkin sprouts with 40 cm. apart.
